I’m Fraser, the proud founder of Rooral Roots, and my journey here is deeply rooted in a lifelong passion for nature and community. From my earliest ventures, I've always been driven by the satisfaction of creating something meaningful. While building a successful car wash business, my true calling emerged from a simple love: foraging. Exploring our local landscapes, discovering nature's bounty, and transforming wild foods into delicious homemade jams and chutneys became more than a hobby – it blossomed into a vision for a purpose-driven enterprise.

The overwhelming response to my very first batches at the Lochmaben Children's Gala Christmas market wasn't just about good food; it affirmed that this was a way to share authentic, handmade produce, crafted with care for both people and planet. That spark ignited the creation of Rooral Roots Co. Ltd.

We meticulously forage with profound care, ensuring wild food sources are protected and allowed to thrive, providing sustenance for local wildlife and naturally spreading seeds for future growth. Every product comes in 100% recyclable packaging, minimizing our ecological footprint. Beyond nature, we actively cultivate community spirit by donating excess flower and vegetable seeds to initiatives like the Lochmaben Community Gardens, helping to ensure fresh, local food is accessible to those who need it most.
